the arrival of fall (fashion).

fall has arrived.

(bostonians soaking up the afternoon sunshine on this crisp fall day in copley square)

& with it, delicious smells, cooler weather, & fashion ...
lots & lots of fashion!

sweaters, skinny jeans, jackets ...
all of the magazines delivered to our doorsteps are a bit thicker this month,
& SALE! signs scream from every store front.
(leave it to me to get the fedex truck reflection ...)

personally, i am on a mission this year.
while i will still gather up all of the blazers, cardigans, & warm woolly things that i can find,
i am in search of the perfect fall boot.

knee high, over the knee, riding, booties, stiletto, flat, cowboy ...
the options are endless!

so i am looking to you for help ...
what boots can you not live without this fall?
what is your go-to brand or store for boots?

  4. I have to admit, I'm not much of a shopper, so I can't help you with where to shop, but I can tell you that my go-to boots are my vintage cowboy boots!

  5. First time here and I love the tone of your blog! I am a shoe-a-holic, no really! At last count, my kids claim that I have 137 pairs of shoes, perhaps 20 or so pairs of boots. No flats. So, this autumn I am looking for a pair of low heeled boots that have got to be completely waterproof (wellies are for gardening!) but still drop dead gorgeous!

  6. Hey Stella! Thanks for coming by "this little light"! I found a gorgeous pair of boots at the DSW in Woburn last winter ... and I think they're already out for the fall, so try that!

    I absolutely love them.
